Uploading
Uploading a video is very straight forward.
Just click the upload icon in the top right of the screen;
You will then see the following Upload page:
You are here presented with the following actions:
Publish Now
Choose whether to publish the video as soon it has uploaded or at a later date.
Video Title
Can be no more than 100 characters, this title is used in combination with your video when showed on the platform, so make every word count.
Description
The description can't have more than 5000 characters, this field is optional but can be used to provide further information about your video.
If hashtags (#) are used in the descriptions they will be used to help categorize the video in search.
Content Sensitivity
Please make sure you choose the appropriate setting that accurately represents your video.
There are currently 3 choices. (For some users It you can also have a, for ages 14 and over, option. (more research is needed on this))
Upload Video
The preferred aspect ratio of a video is 16:9 but it accept all kinds of ratios.
Accepted Video file types include : '.mov', '.mp4', '.avi', '.wmv', '.3gp', '.ogg', '.webm', '.mkv', '.m4v',
480p is the max resolution accepted all higher resolutions will be converted back to 480p.
Upload Cover
The cover, also know as a thumbnail is required when uploading a video.
The preferred aspect ratio of the cover is 16:9 but it accept all sorts of ratios.
If you do upload other aspect ratios just remember that Bitchute will automatically crop the image or fill it with a black background, basically no image transparency.
Accepted image file types include jpg and png.

Once you've completed each section please click the 'Finish' button in the top right.
After the video has uploaded you will see the processing screen, once the video has processed it will be searchable and viewable on the site.
From your video you can click on 'Settings' to add more or edit the information of your video such as hashtags, choosing a category, and allowing discussion. Click save when you're entered this information;
